“Hi! I am Sydney Wiggins, and I have been teaching at Blackmon Road for 4 years. I teach both 6^th grade Earth Science and 7^th grade Life Science. I am the science department head and the head cheerleading coach at BRMS. I earned my degree in Middle Grades Education from Columbus State University in 2020 and earned my master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Columbus State University in 2024. 

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my husband and our dog.” 

Hi, my name is Kimberly Udy and this is my 30^th year of teaching Science. Having grown up in central Florida, a lot of my childhood was spent deep-sea fishing with my parents, getting in trouble for dissecting the bait, or playing with insects in the backyard instead of completing my chores. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Auburn University, a Master’s degree in Middle Grades Math & Science from Columbus State University, and am currently working toward a degree in Radiologic Technology. I have been married to my very patient husband Alan for 28 years and am a mom to two amazing young men – Cameron and Brendan, both of whom were BRMS students and Shaw High School honor graduates. Mr. Udy and I enjoy tennis, kayaking, snorkeling and watching television with our two dogs Bailey and Charlie.

Hello! My name is Allison Lansdon, and this is my first year at BRMS as a 6th and 7th grade science teacher. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in secondary education from Columbus State University. I’m looking forward to a great year!
