Scott Smith, c/o ’94 and pilots of 15 helicopters are in Lakeland, FL helped to evacuate residents after the damage incurred by Hurricane Irma. Scott is pictured in the center. In addition, Spencer grad. Alan Gettridge c/o 95 assisted as well. We are very proud of the men and women, who have dedicated their lives to serving this country. #GreenwaveStandUp
Congratulations to our 23 students who earned all A’s and to those who exhibited Model Spencerian Behavior for the 2nd 9 weeks. Columbus leaders and supporters turned out Friday to 1000 Fort Benning Road for the groundbreaking of the new William H. Spencer High School. The new 200,000 square-foot building with 60 classrooms will replace the current 38-year-old school at 4340 Victory Drive. The groundbreaking brought smiles to the faces of many students, faculty and alumni who are looking forward to the opening of the new facility.
