Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”

At Jordan Vocational High School College and Career Academy, our students believe in serving others often. Students volunteer not only at Jordan but also in our community. We believe in making a difference from our classrooms to our community.

Are you interested in becoming a Hive Helper or a Johnson Reader? If so, please see Ms. Zitzelberger in the Freshman Academy Suite. Ms. Z’s email is Zitzelberger.Tammy.J@muscogee.k12.ga.us.

Our JVHS CCA Hive Helpers volunteer in various capacities, such as providing tours for our new students and volunteering at events for other MCSD schools. The Hive Helper program teaches our students about the importance of giving back to the community and lending a helping hand to those in need.

Our Johnson Readers are students who visit Johnson Elementary every other Friday to read books to their students. This collaborative effort between Jordan and Johnson allows our students to serve as role models for the elementary students.
