The VMMS Band earned superior ratings in sight reading and excellent ratings on stage performance at LGPE! The VMMS Band program has come a long way this year under the direction of Mrs. Tates. RLTW 🥁🎺🎷🎼
The VMMS Choir led by Ms. Brown put on an amazing concert before a packed house including Superintendent Dr. Lewis at Hilton Terrace Baptist Church. The choir performed several songs of cultural relevance and closed with a crowd favorite I Sing Because I Am Happy. A special thank you to Hilton Terrace Baptist Church for hosting our concert. Thank you to Mr. Andrade for volunteering his time and talents.
Congratulations to the VMMS Rangers Band members in the 2026 District III All District Honor Band! A big shoutout to our talented Ranger Band students: Freya Leferink – clarinet, Timothy Nguyen – euphonium, Gideo Rivera-percussion who took part in the this year’s All District Honor Band and a huge thank you to Ms. Heard for her excellent direction. The concert was fantastic, and these musicians truly showcased their hard work and passion.
