ECMA is a magnet school for gifted and talented students. Besides its 30 academic classrooms, the campus also includes a spacious gym, a football field, & classrooms for band, orchestra, chorus, art, business, keyboarding, and Spanish. Modern technologies include access to: four fully networked student labs, five mobile wireless labs, fully automated media center with two lookup stations and laptop lab for 30 students, and access to ebooks through Follett. The school is completely networked and connected to the wide area network of the Muscogee County School District.

No educational program would succeed without the commitment of the dedicated and professionally trained faculty.  The faculty and staff at ECMA are caring individuals who have high expectations of the students, as well as themselves.  Teachers put in long hours for preparation of lessons, extra-curricular activities and tutorial services.  With this strong degree of dedication, ECMA students should leave this institution fully prepared to move to high school successfully.
