A Letter From Our Principal

Hello Bulldogs!

I’m Katie Lettieri, a proud Arizona native whose journey has been deeply intertwined with the world of education. Married to a dedicated military member, I am blessed with two wonderful children currently navigating the college experience.

My educational path began at Arizona State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Building upon that foundation, I pursued my passion for teaching by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Fueling my commitment to educational leadership, I furthered my studies, culminating in a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

With over a decade of experience in education, I’ve traversed various roles – seven fulfilling years in the classroom, a year serving as an academic coach, six years as an assistant principal, and now, proudly leading as a principal.

When not immersed in the world of education, I revel in quality time with my family, cherishing moments outdoors, playing with our beloved dogs, indulging in a good book, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Life, to me, is about the balance between fostering young minds and nurturing personal connections, enjoying the simple pleasures, and embracing the vast wonders of our world.

Looking forward to connecting and sharing this incredible journey of learning and growth together!

Best regards,

Katie Lettieri

A Letter From Our Assistant Principal

Hello Bulldogs,

I am Sironda Peters. It is a privilege and my pleasure to serve as the Assistant Principal at Wesley Heights Elementary School. With over 15 years of experience in education, my journey began as a 3rd grade teacher at Key Elementary within the Muscogee County School District. Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe the success of our students is connected across many areas. For this reason, I embrace opportunities to support student achievement, to mentor and encourage teachers, and to collaborate with families.

I hold a Master Degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Tier I Educational Leadership Certification from Columbus State University. I love spending time with and traveling with my family. However, I also find joy in relaxing and basking in peaceful, quiet moments.

As your Assistant Principal, my mission is to ensure that every student feels valued, inspired, and encouraged to reach their full potential. To support this mission, I will work closely with the principal and our dedicated staff to create an atmosphere of excellence, where high expectations and personal growth are at the core.

I am thrilled to welcome you to another exciting school year at Wesley Heights. It is our goal to provide the best possible educational experience for our students. We believe in the importance of a collaborative partnership between the school and families, and I encourage you to stay connected with us throughout the year. Together, we can ensure that every student has the support and resources needed to succeed.

I look forward to meeting and working with each of you to make this a successful school year. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns—I am here to help.

Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make this year one of growth, achievement, and increased community spirit.

Warmest regards,

Mrs. Sironda Peters
