Chess Club
The Northside Competition Chess Team, chaired by Mrs. Deb Mitchell, Mrs. Emerald Ball, and Mrs. Rabiyah Rahim, was established in 2011 by Northside students. The team practices on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings in room 929. The team competes locally and travels throughout the state for tournaments. The team, also, goes to state competition/tournament in March, each year.
