How to Apply
Applying to Downtown Elementary Magnet Academy is easy!
Families will need to visit the MCSD online registration page to complete district registration, then visit the Magnet Application page to apply specifically for our school. We look forward to hearing from you!
The online registration process will walk you through a series of steps to enter or confirm information about your student, parents or guardians, and emergency contacts. You will also have the opportunity to upload necessary documents, such as proof of residency. The online registration system is available in English and Spanish.
Downtown Elementary Magnet Academy is now accepting magnet applications for the 2026–2027 school year! All applications are due January 9th by 5:00 PM.
