Drama Club will be meeting today until 5, in Ms Mcguires room.

There will be no Creative Writing Club or Bible Club next week, they will resume on Monday, September 11.

Arnold will be having a spirit night at Texas Roadhouse on Tuesday, September 5th. From 3-10, tell your server you’re there to support Arnold, and the school will receive 10% back.

Arnold is looking for students, teachers, and faculty to participate in the Latino Festival Parade on September 16, 2023.  If you are interested, please let one of the ESOL teachers know.  Mrs. Murphy, Mr. Castillo, or Ms. Gideon.  More information is to come.

Boys soccer defeated Veterans yesterday, 2-1. We are very proud of our girls soccer team playing their best. Our next soccer game will be September 6, at Spencer Stadium (4150 Cusseta Road). Arnold will be playing against Richards at 5:30. Tickets will be sold exclusively online this year. The link is on the Arnold website, under “Athletics”. There will be NO CASH SALES for tickets this year. Please students, be aware of the newest district-wide rules for sports functions; namely, no students under 18 are allowed into games without an adult, even if you’ve purchased a ticket.

There is no boys soccer practice today. Boys soccer practice will resume tomorrow.

Volleyball conditioning starts today until 4:30. As with all sports, you must have a physical on file in order to participate, and your parent must pick you up on time.

Fall Pictures will be taken on Monday, October 2.

Teachers, please make sure you are completing the steps to the digital learning journal during your 4th period classes.

Our first PBIS fundraiser will take place tomorrow, Friday September 1st. For $1 students may wear either a hat or sunglasses. For $2 students may wear both a hat and sunglasses. Students will pay cash to their homeroom teachers. Teachers, please check your boxes for signature sheets and stickers for those who had paid. Any students found wearing a hat or sunglasses without a sticker will be asked to remove that item.

Students may wear a tshirt or jersey with their favorite college sports team tomorrow. If you do, you’ll receive 50 PBIS points.

Teachers, please document those PBIS points on your rosters until the app is up and running.

There is no school on Monday, September 4th in honor of Labor Day.
