It was called The Reading Bowl and, in a competitive game format, questioned students about the content of the 20 Georgia Book Award Nominees each year. Her vision was to have teams, comprised of students from different schools, compete to test their knowledge of the selected books.\u201d<\/p>\n What do I have to do?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The Shaw High Reading Bowl team spends the first semester of the school year reading 20 books set forth by the HRRB committee. The list can be found here: https:\/\/www.dekalbschoolsga.org\/hrrb\/booklists\/<\/a>. The Shaw High media center has multiple copies of all of the books available for check-out. The Columbus library also has copies of the books both digitally and physically to check out. We will be meeting after school once a week to discuss books and practice questions (day and time TBD).
