Online Registration (OLR) for Parents for Returning Students and New Siblings<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Before submitting, please ensure you have correctly uploaded every document<\/strong>. If the required documents are not uploaded, the OLR will be UNSUBMITTED and returned to be resubmitted. Further details will be in the notes sent when the OLR is returned. NCES classes ARE filling up fast, and we are already making rosters for the new year.\u00a0 We want you to attend your home school instead of being sent to a neighboring school.\u00a0 We encourage you to get everything uploaded the first time so that we can quickly process your application by the date they were submitted. Please note that when you have to resubmit, your application will be reprioritized based on the date it was submitted. Please regularly check your email, including your inbox, clutter, and spam folders, for emails from the OLR system.<\/strong> These emails will come from the email address you provided during the OLR process. OLRs will be reviewed in the order they were submitted or resubmitted<\/strong>. All communication regarding the OLR will be conducted via email only. Please monitor your email regularly to stay updated on the status of your submission.<\/p>\n

RETURNING STUDENTS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

RETURNING STUDENTS<\/strong> to NCES must ensure<\/u><\/strong> that the following items are uploaded as specified in the description below.
1-Current lease, mortgage, or tax assessment<\/strong>\u2014 Please provide a current lease, mortgage statement, or tax assessment (see link below) dated within the last month, current month, or upcoming month. Please ensure the entire document is visible. You may redact the payment amount.\u00a0 For a lease, there needs to be details such as occupants, expiration date, and a signature page. If your lease is month-to-month after its expiration, please specify where this information can be found on the lease.

2-Utility<\/strong>\u2014Please provide a current utility bill for power, internet, water, or gas dated within the last month, current month, or upcoming month. Alternatively, you can obtain a Letter of Residency\/Service from GA Power (see link below). We CANNOT ACCEPT<\/strong> bills that say, <\/strong>\u201cFinal Bill\u201d or \u201cDisconnect Notice.\u201d

3-Parent ID<\/strong> \u2013 If both guardians\/parents are listed in the OLR, please make sure that both IDs are provided.
4-NCES Student Verification Form <\/strong>Student_Enrollment_Form_2026-2027<\/a><\/p>\n

NEW STUDENTS, SIBLINGS of NCES STUDENTS, and TRANSFER STUDENTS<\/strong> must complete the following requirements in addition to the items listed above.\u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n

PRE-K STUDENTS<\/strong> must have secured a spot through the lottery to enroll at NCES. If your Pre-K student had been selected, you would have received a notification and completed the necessary forms in March.<\/em><\/p>\n

5-Birth Certificate<\/strong>
6-Social Security Card
<\/strong>7-GA Immunization Form<\/strong>\u2014Please complete this over the summer and bring it on Verification Day. If you do not have it with you on Verification Day, you must sign a waiver and send the document to us no later than August 27th<\/strong> so that your student(s) may stay enrolled at NCES.
8-GA Ear, Eye, and Dental<\/strong>\u2014Please complete this over the summer and bring it on Verification Day. If you do not have it with you on Verification Day, you must sign a waiver and send the document to us no later than August 27th<\/strong> so that your student(s) may stay enrolled at NCES.<\/p>\n

Affidavits and McKinney-Vento<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If your student(s) is attending NCES on either an affidavit or McKinney-Vento status this school year, please know that you must renew yearly. Your student cannot be enrolled at NCES for the 2026-2027 school year until this renewal is completed. We strongly suggest that you do this in the summer before Verification Day, to avoid the last-minute rush right before school starts.\u00a0 Failure to renew may result in your student losing their seat and potentially being transferred to a neighboring school.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Affidavits<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Affidavits <\/strong>are used when a family\/student is living at an address with another family because they are choosing to reside there for the school year. These families are subject to Social Worker visits to verify that they are residing in the household daily. A family that is living with another family would need an affidavit if they were not listed on the mortgage and\/or utility bills for the residence. This does NOT include husband\/wife situations or split family situations. Families choosing to live with another family, while not having their name listed on the mortgage or utilities, are required to complete the affidavit process.<\/p>\n

Affidavits must be renewed every year. Affidavits are by appointment only. Before requesting an appointment to be made please be sure you have the following.

1-The person whose address you\u2019re using must provide a State ID (e.g., driver\u2019s license). We cannot accept Military IDs because we must make a copy of them, and the Military says we are not allowed to make a copy.

o If this is your second affidavit, please bring 3 pieces of mail (no junk mail) showing your name and the address you’re living at. Examples: cell phone bill, doctor\u2019s bill, car insurance, bank\/credit card statement, tax document, or official mail from a government agency.<\/p>\n
