You can check this by visiting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whatismybrowser.com\/\">https:\/\/www.whatismybrowser.com\/<\/a> on the device.<\/p>\n<p>Connectivity<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the student uses a laptop, iPad, or Android tablet, have them move close to the wireless source (WiFi router). Check for signal strength before logging in to their Lexia program.<\/li>\n<li>Have the student use Lexia when no one else is using the WiFi for activities that use a lot of WiFi bandwidth, such as streaming TV or movies, or video conferencing.<\/li>\n<li>If the student uses a computer or laptop, have them try using a different browser (we support Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge).<\/li>\n<li>If there is another device available, have the student try a different device.<\/li>\n<li>If the students are on computers, they might also try clearing the cache in the browser. They can use the following steps to clear cache in Chrome:\n<ul>\n<li>Click the Chrome menu (The icon is in the top-right corner, and will look like three horizontal lines if Chrome is updated, or like a green arrow if Chrome needs updating).<\/li>\n<li>In the pull-down menu, select More tools &gt; Clear browsing data, which will open a pop-up tab.<\/li>\n<li>In the dialog box, check the box next to &#8220;Cached images and files&#8221; and choose &#8220;the beginning of time&#8221; from the pull-down menu. Uncheck the other options if you do not wish to clear their data.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Clear data&#8221; at the bottom of the dialog box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bandwidth Issues:<\/p>\n<p>It appears that that student may be having network difficulties, and may not have strong enough internet to connect to our server. If you&#8217;re unsure what browser version you&#8217;re using, from the Help menu or your browser&#8217;s menu, select About [browser name].<\/p>\n<p><strong>Internet Explorer:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nDue to the changing requirements of our programs, we no longer support this browser. However, we do still support the other options listed below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Edge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the icon with <strong>three horizontal dots<\/strong> in the top right of the window to open the <strong>More menu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Settings<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Choose what to clear<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Check-mark<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Browsing history<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cookies and saved website data<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cached data and files<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Once that goes through, <strong>close all Edge browser windows<\/strong>and reopen Edge to refresh the browser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Google Chrome:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Customize and Control icon (three vertical dots)<\/strong> in the top right corner of the browser.<br \/>\n2. Hover over <strong>More Tools<\/strong>.<br \/>\n3. Click the <strong>Clear Browsing Data<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>All Time<\/strong> from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Advanced<\/strong> tab.<br \/>\n6. Check-mark<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Browsing History<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Download history<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cached images and files<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cookies and other site data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Click <strong>Clear Browsing Data<\/strong>.<br \/>\n8. Once the box has disappeared, <strong>close all open Chrome browser windows<\/strong> and reopen Chrome to refresh the browser.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Firefox:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>menu button (3-vertical lines)<\/strong> in top right<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Options<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Privacy &amp; Security<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Scroll to <strong>History<\/strong>section and click <strong>Clear History<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Check-mark<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Browsing &amp; Download History<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cookies<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cache.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>After that has processed, <strong>close all open Firefox browser windows<\/strong>and reopen Firefox to refresh the browser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Safari 8 and above:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From the <strong>Safari menu<\/strong>, select <strong>Clear History&#8230;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>desired time range<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Clear History<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quit Safari or press Command-Q<\/strong> to exit the browser completely and then reopen to refresh the browser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Safari 7 and below:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From the <strong>Safari menu<\/strong>, select <strong>Reset Safari&#8230;.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Select the items you want to reset<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Reset<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>*As of Safari 5.1, Remove all website data includes both cookies and cache.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Quit Safari or press Command-Q<\/strong>to exit the browser completely and then reopen to refresh the browser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>iPad:<\/strong><br \/>\n1.
