Mission Statement<\/span>
The mission of the school library media program at Dawson Elementary School is to ensure access to all available information so that members of the school community will become effective and independent users of ideas and information.<\/p>\n
Students in grades 1st through 5th may check out 2 books at a time. Each class comes to the library on a weekly basis. Library lessons are taught that are related to the curriculum. Students are given the opportunity to checkout new books. Students are also allowed to come during Open\/Flex time and check out books on an individual basis.<\/p>\n
