To ensure the safety of our students, we would like to inform you of our drop off and pick up procedures.
Morning Drop Off
7:00 a.m. – Bus and daycares may drop off in the back loop of the school.
7:15 a.m. – Car-riders may be dropped off (KDG, first, second grade and siblings in the front car loop) (7:15 a.m. third, fourth and fifth in the back car loop)
We will not allow car riders in the building prior to 7:15 a.m.
Students arriving prior to 7:40 a.m. may choose to get breakfast from the cafeteria.
Parents will be allowed to walk students in the building the first day of school, but parents may not enter the classrooms.
Afternoon Pick Up
Buses and daycares will pick up in the back loop.
All car rider KDG, first and second grade students and siblings will be picked up in the front loop.  All Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students will be picked up in the back loop.
(If you have multiple children, please default to the youngest child’s grade level on where to pick up).
You MUST have your car rider number hanging in the front window of your car to receive your student.
Car rider pick up will begin at 2:05 p.m. Please do not pull into the school pick up line from Old Guard Road until 2:05 p.m. There is no need to arrive early.
Please be patient with us as students load cars for the first few weeks. We are concerned about safety first and not the time it takes to load students. After the first two weeks, car rider lines move quickly and smoothly.

Masks – Please provide a mask for your child every day until MCSD lifts the mask mandate.
COVID – If you have had your child tested for COVID, please keep your child home until you receive the test results.  Upon a positive test result please contact the school for instructions.
Car Rider Line – Please be patient with us during car rider line. Also, please use the appropriate car line for your child’s grade.  K – 2nd in the front.  3rd – 5th in the back.  Car rider line starts at 7:15 AM and ends at 7:45 AM.
Front Car Line – Please let your child independently open the door and exit the vehicle after stopping.  This helps our line move faster.
Back Car Line – Third through fifth grade students should always open their car door upon stopping. The back is a stop and drop off service which allows all vehicles to get in and out in a timely manner.  All students should exit their vehicle on the passenger side for safety reasons.
Tardies – Students need to be in the building by 7:40 so that they can be in their seats by 7:45.
