New Students to MCSD

New student:
This option is for families who DO NOT have an existing student in MCSD or your child is transferring from another school district, institution, or home school environment and you have no other children enrolled in MCSD.

New student with a sibling who is a current student:
If your new student has a sibling who is a currently enrolled student in MCSD, please complete your online registration application through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You may add your new students during the annual update window or at any time during the school year.

Required documents: You will need to provide these items to finalize registration for all new students.
Proof of child’s age: child’s birth certificate
Copy of child’s social security card
Student’s transcript, last report card or withdrawal form (if coming from a different district or program)
(2) Proofs of residency:
* Current Lease and/or mortgage statement AND
* Current utility bill
Parent Identification
Can you believe, it is time to register your children for the 2023-2024 school year? Please complete registration here prior to coming to the school for verification.
•All students must have a completed Online Registration. Please make sure that you upload a current unexpired lease, mortgage statement or property tax statement AND current utility bill (GA Power, Liberty Utilities or Columbus Water Works) AND current parent ID.
If you are experiencing any hardship concerning housing or need to complete an affidavit of residency please email our school clerk at shorter.veronica.l@muscogee.k12.ga.us and she will respond directly to you.
• Please sign into your parent portal account and complete all forms under the documents tab.

If you do not have access or are having difficulty accessing Parent Portal, please contact your child’s school for assistance.
Required documents: You will need to provide these items to finalize enrollment and confirm your current residence.

Please keep an eye on your emails. As Online Registration Applications are being processed, you will receive an email for any missing documents. Uploading the documents in your Online Registration will help to speed up the process during verification.
